As a community we embrace the foundational truths of the Christian faith as follows.
Concerning the Triune God, we believe…
- The Lord Our God is One, and that He expresses Himself in three Persons: the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4)
- Each person of the Godhead is co-eternal in nature and being, co-equal in glory, power, attributes and perfection (2 Cor. 13:14).
Concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe…
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
- He alone is our salvation, our life and our resurrection.
- He physically raised from the dead by virtue of a sinless life, is currently seated in the heavens until His enemies be made His footstool, and that He is coming again to judge the living and the dead.
- He has given us His Spirit as earnest of our inheritance and that His Spirit is mingled with our spirit to express the person of Jesus to the world.
Concerning Salvation, we believe…
- Salvation has already been purchased for every man through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
- A man must confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that He raised from the dead to receive salvation.
- Salvation is not a matter of works, however repentance is the proof of salvation and will be manifest in a person’s living.
- Salvation is complete for the spirit, soul & body of man.
- Having once come to Christ a man’s salvation is secure.
Concerning the Scriptures, we believe…
- The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired word of God, the final authority for faith and life, infallible and God-breathed (II Tim 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:20,21; Matt 5:18; John 16:12,13).
